The PLLL postseason will begin with a Pool Play Tournament held May 2–3. This replaces traditional random playoff seeding and will now determine placement in the playoff bracket.
All teams will be randomly assigned pool play matchups. Regular season results will not be used for seeding. Teams will be seeded into the playoff bracket based on pool play performance, using:
- Wins/Losses
- Run Differential (as a tiebreaker)
Following pool play, all teams will advance into a double elimination playoff bracket, which will continue throughout May until a champion is determined.
Please note:
- Playoff games extend beyond the regular season schedule into May
- The league will be dark over Memorial Day weekend; no games will be scheduled over the four-day weekend of May 22-25.
- Closing ceremonies for all divisions are scheduled for May 30. Championship games may be held that day, if necessary.
All regular season rules apply dependent on Managers playoff rules meeting.
