PLLL Hosts 11u All Star Tournament

June 19 –  July 3

Point Loma Little League will be hosting the 11U All-Star Tournament again this year and the only way we are able to do this is through the support of our families.

The 11U tournament kicks off on June 19th and goes until July 8th. We need volunteers to prepare our fields, work the snack shack, announce, AND score keep.  To put it in perspective we have over 140 volunteer slots that need to be filled in order to make this work. That means we really need each and every one of you to help out!

Use the SignUpGenius link above to find days/times that will work for you. Everything is hosted here at our very own PLLL fields. Remember even if slots are filled come support our PL team as they battle their way through the tournament! 

Volunteer Opportunities

Field Prep or Field Closing: Opening crew will drag, rake, water, and chalk the field. Closing crew will drag, rake, water the field, and take down the banners from the SS.

Announcer: 30 min prior to the game the Announcer checks in with the district representative and then announces all batters and teams throughout the game.  The Announcer also plays music in between innings!

Scorekeeper: Keeps official scorebook for the game so please sign up for this if you have experience keeping a scorebook. Arrival is 45 min prior to the start of the game to get lineups from both teams and set up the book.

Snack Shack Worker: Serves up food from the best Snack Shack Little League has seen! A manager will be on duty so this is the same great shift you worked during the regular season! 

Griller: Grilling up our famous SS burgers and dogs from the best seat in the house.  Must be an adult to operate the grill.
