PLLL Field Prep Day – we could use your help

The season is quickly approaching!  Some field work has already begun but we need to button up several key projects.  All hands are welcome as we prepare the fields for Assessments and the 2023 season.

When: Sunday January 8th 2:30pm

Where: Point Loma Little League Fields

There is a lot to do, but hopefully we can knock most, if not all, of it out on Sunday with good participation and organization.  Thanks in advance, hope to see you there!  

Junior Umpires

Calling all future umpires!  PLLL’s Junior Umpire program is a unique way for your son/daughter to stay close to the game all season long.  Whether you have a baseball player yourself, or a child who just loves the game, anyone 13+ can join. 

We’re working on creating our list of umpires for the 2023 season now; training will take place for all Junior Umpires before the season starts (late January/early February).  For more information and/or to sign your child up, please email AJ Pitkin directly at [email protected]

Support PLHS Baseball

It's Baaack...the PLHS Baseball Boosters are happy to announce the return of the Baseball Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 4th at Dana Middle School/David Wells Field.

A long standing tradition, the Baseball Breakfast is the biggest fundraiser for the PLHS program, all proceeds directly support the Freshman, JV and Varsity teams. 

Tickets will be available to purchase at PLLL Assessment Day, Sat. Jan. 14th. $10 gets you pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice and a PLHS baseball game!  Come support our Fighting Pointers - this is a community event, all Past, Present, FUTURE Pointers and anyone who loves baseball is invited!

January 14 Player Assessments
(league age 8 and up and league age 7’s interested in NL)
January 23 – February 3   Team drafts and player selection occurs (starts with top division on down); practices may start within this timeframe
February 25 Opening Day
May 13 – June 3 Playoffs (IL, AL, and NL divisions)
June 3 Closing Day
June 5 – TBD All Star activities & tournaments (dates vary by league age)
July 10 Fences down
