It’s Playoff Baseball!
In just two weeks we will celebrate the end of the 2022 season here at PLLL. As we work our way through the PL tournament a few things to keep in mind -
- One of the most important aspects of baseball we teach our players is about sportsmanship - it's an intense time of the season, which makes this even more important! Your kids (and the community) are watching, let's represent PLLL in a way we're all proud of.
- Umpires do their best - there's no use arguing balls/strikes overtly, or subtly. They own the game once it begins, let's work together and follow the process for on field call clarification/challenges.
- Music - we love the energy, let's keep it up! Make sure music is clean, and in the spirit of friendly competition. Save the Champion songs for Championship games. Music should only be played between innings and for walk ups, not during play. Coordinate walk up songs with the other team before the game so there isn't any confusion on game day.
- Keep the cowbells, airhorns and megaphones at home, THERE IS NO PLACE FOR THIS TYPE OF CHEERING AT PL. Let’s keep cheering clean and positive and have fun as a community.
Golden Glove Games
Wednesday May 25, 4pm – 7pm
Come watch as our Rookie players make their debut on the big fields! Games start at 4pm and run until 7pm. Along with our regular fantastic Shack fare, we’ll have Zoe's Place taco truck at the fields from 4:30 - 7pm.
Help make it happen! We are looking for volunteers ages 12 and up to manage the score board and announce our players with their walk-up songs. Additionally, we need field prep help before and between games. Youth can earn community service hours.

Closing Day – Saturday June 4
Come celebrate our season and players! Trophy ceremony will be Saturday morning – we’re planning for 9am UNLESS we have a Championship game, which will move us back to 10am.
