The Shack is Back!

It's official - the World Famous Point Loma LL Snack Shack is back, feeding families on the Point 6 nights a week starting Monday!

Many of you were part of our Soft Opening the last two Saturdays and may have noticed a lot of new treats, both physical and edible.  We'd like to say a huge thank you to Jim Manning, a PLLL parent and community member who made a donation to the league; because of his generosity we were able to make some much needed improvements.  Thank you Jim for funding our new countertops, drywall, paint, shelving, and lighting. it looks incredible!  We will be posting before/after photos to the website so the League can get an idea of the impact Jim's donation made.  

Huge shout out to Dave Cooley, Chris Leitz, Steve Stutz for making it all happen in time for Spring, despite the tight contracting market!

Once the remodel wrapped Jen Sanchez and team took over and moved back in - in addition to pizza, burgers, and hot dogs we're now serving - 

• Jensen’s breakfast burritos on Saturday
• JFat chili nights
• Pizza Nova pizza
• Cravory cookies
• Fruit smoothies
• French fries from the air fryer 
• ...and player favorite Slush Puppies!

None of this could be possible without our fantastic Snack Shack Managers, thank them for feeding your kids so you don't have to cook.  Jen Sanchez, Erin Costa, Megan Guyott, Tori Traino, Joanne Lamb, Melissa Munster, Bre Manning and Rachel Blum.  We appreciate you!

Speaking of games, you may have already seen the shots Michele Friszell captured from our Opening Day - https://www.michelefriszellphotography.com/Sports/PLLL-Opening-Day-2-26-2022/  Michele is a longtime supporter of PLLL and many of us have some incredible shots of our kids throughout the years thanks to her.

Michele has offered to shoot some of the games this year, providing photos for purchase via her website (click through the link above to see albums from previous years to get an idea of what the product looks like).  

• We will be coordinating requests through Team Parents - if you're a team parent be on the lookout for instructions/google form
• If you're interested in having your player's game captured this season, reach out to your team parent
• We will work with Michele to get as many games shot as possible this season but cannot guarantee every team will have photos (like everything, Michele has also been impacted by Covid with suppliers closing, etc.)
