Fingers crossed…Opening day is this Saturday, February 29th
Come help us celebrate our 65th anniversary!
From Opening Ceremonies in the morning through games under the lights! That’s right, we’re still bringing in LIGHTS for Opening Day.
TIME: Please plan to arrive by 8:00am and help your kiddo make their way to the infield of the Majors field. Teams will line up along the edge of the infield with the youngest (TBall) on the first base side moving toward 3rd base where the oldest (JR) will line up.
Opening Ceremonies will begin promptly at 8:30am so we can finish in time for Opening Day Games. First pitches are at 10am.
ATTIRE: Please have players in full uniforms (hats, jerseys, pants/belts/socks in colors designated by your team Manager).
FOOD? we’ve got you covered…
MORNING: Donuts and Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuits
MID-DAY: Carne Asado Tacos and Kona Ice
(free Kona Ice for all players – see Team Manager for ticket)
EVENING: Lasagna dinner plus regular SS Grill Favorites

Volunteers Needed this Friday Night
Help us get ready for Opening Day by coming to the field Friday evening. We could use some extra hands to help get the portable lights set up for our fields for our Opening Day 65th anniversary celebration!
Please come down to the field Friday at 5pm!
This Saturday is also PLLL Picture Day!
This Saturday (Opening Day), we’ll have professional photographers at PLLL to take individual player pictures as well as Team pictures. Make the memories last with professional photos and mementos. Please be on the lookout for an order form from your Team’s Manager. For your Team’s “shoot” time, please see the following schedule. If you’re uncertain which is your team, please reach out to your team’s Manager. Note arrival time is 15 minutes prior to shoot time.
Snack Shack Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to join our Snack Shack team. If you have a weeknight or two a month and a few hours on a Saturday, please contact Laurel LeCault at [email protected].
Everybody loves the snack shack, but it takes a team to run!
Head Scorekeeper
We know how you all love GameChanger. You can see your kiddo’s game when you’re traveling for work, sign up Grandma and Grandpa so they don’t miss any games, or just keep up with team stats.
Unfortunately, without a Head Scorekeeper, GameChanger goes away.
